This young company found in Los Angeles back in 2009 has seemingly been working hard and diligently to provide quality products. Review
When I first got the packaged mic, the box was decorated with the appropriate amount of info for the hardware. Right away I could tell there was no chance for an aux plugin, so I knew I would need to have a free USB port open. That gave way to another set of questions to look out for involving sound quality through USB ports. Connection through wire was the only way this mic connected, no Bluetooth. That was an instant relief. I have had trouble with Bluetooth mics in the past.
As everything came open and I unpacked it all, setup was a breeze. The mic connected to the metal arm, and the arm attached to my desk and computer with no hassle. Admittedly, the arm was smaller than my previous mic arm, but the size of the PUPGSIS mic made up for that last little bit of room I needed to comfortably keep the mic to my face. This will likely not be a problem for most people, I have to attach my microphone arms to the back of my desk. Within seconds my PC picked up on the mic, and it was ready to go.
The microphone is easily my favorite part. It’s big, sturdy, and has three mixing knobs built right on it. The RGB looks amazing, and easy to turn off and on with the press of a button. The ability to control headphone, mic, and reverb levels on the hardware itself is a game changer. No need for another audio mixer, since my space is limited, but I get the ability to control my sound as if I had one.
The quality of sound surprised me. It was clear, every sound it picked up on wasn’t muzzled, and not a hint of interference noise picked up. The cone of sound it picked up was amazing, from my dogs running through the house, to catching all the directions my fingers snapped.
The price for this mic is another feather in the PUPGSIS cap. Forty dollars for a mic of this level is a great price for anyone. That means more than PC users, this mic can hook up to multiple consoles as well, should the need arise.
I’m grateful for the chance to be introduced to another gaming mic. While there’s no aux option, the quality is still great. The PUBGSIS Condensor mic is a great choice for any type of creator.
