After an official rebranding, Nordic Games will henceforth be known as THQ Nordic. The main reason for the change comes down to the recently acquired portfolio of THQ IP the company purchased when publisher THQ went under back in April of 2013. The rebrand, essentially, is an attempt to show fans that Nordic is serious about creating new games and experiences with their acquired IPs.
The IPs purchased back in 2013 include Red Faction, MX vs. ATV, Destroy All Humans!, Summoner, and of course, the Darksiders franchise. Since then, Nordic has released a remaster of Darksiders II and is set to launch the Warmastered edition of the first Darksiders game in October of this year. Currently, THQ Nordic has 23 game projects in development, 13 of which have not yet been publicly announced. Could Darksiders 3 be among these unannounced games? Are you anticipating a third installment in the highly revered Darksiders franchise? Let us know what you think in the comments.
