Read on to see if it’s everything you’ve wanted and more in a roleplaying game starter set!
It is the year 2965 of Middle-earth, the Great Ring has not yet been found, and Saruman, head of the wizards, is calling you to Isengard…
The One Ring: Hobbit Tales is a supplement book that gives detailed background on Hobbits and the 4 sections, or Farthings of the Shire. It also gives 5 story hooks for Players to look into and an Appendix with pre-generated characters such as Esmeralda Took, Balin (son of Fundin), and even Bilbo Baggins himself. Players who own The One Ring Starter Kit will already have access to these same stories and player sheets, but if you’re jumping in with just the Core Rulebook, this will give you a good place to start. Read on for the review!
