Disney and Marvel recently announced that a Guardians of the Galaxy animated series will premiere on Disney XD in September.
Simply titled “Guardians of the Galaxy”, the new animated series will include the voice talents of Will Friedle (Boy Meets World) as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Trevor Devall (Johnny Test) as Rocket Raccoon, Vanessa Marshall (Star Wars Rebels) as Gamora, David Sobolov (Transformers: Prime) as Drax the Destroyer, Kevin Michael Richardson (The Cleveland Show) as Groot and James Arnold Taylor (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) as Yondu and Cosmo.
The show will make its official debut on Saturday, September 26th at 9:30pm ET/PT on Disney XD with two back-to-back episodes. However, the first episode will also be airing as an early sneak preview on Saturday, September 5th at 9:00pm ET/PT.
